This outdoor renovation reimagined an existing pool and patio into a refined contemporary living environment tailored to the new homeowners. While preserving the original footprint of the pool, the design introduced a cohesive composition centered around a custom outdoor kitchen, expanded gathering spaces, and a more intentional relationship between architecture and landscape.

Large-format GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) panels define the outdoor kitchen, floating shelving, and surrounding architectural walls, creating a clean, monolithic expression complemented by a sculptural waterfall countertop and a tiled privacy wall. A linear fire feature anchors the seating area, while integrated lighting and a reconfigured screen enclosure reinforce the continuity of the overall design.

Although the pool remained in its original location, nearly every element was thoughtfully updated, including the interior finish, spa, plumbing, and entry steps. Existing travertine paving was restored and seamlessly incorporated into the new composition, resulting in an outdoor environment that feels both timeless and entirely transformed.
